Adding Money to Your Mortgage
1. Apply
Apply online in minutes to lock in your fixed rate for 120 days. Naturally if rates go down during this time, you'll get the lower rate.
2. Approval mortgage documentation
Once your deal is approved you'll receive a mortgage approval letter outlining the documentation you'll need to finalize your mortgage. Your Account Representative will work with you to collect the information and answer any questions you may have.
3. Finalizing your mortgage
You'll need to meet with your lawyer (notary in Quebec) to sign mortgage documentation and confirm your identity. Once this has been done your lawyer/notary can advise you when your additional money will be available.
4. Welcome to ING DIRECT!
You'll receive a welcome letter verifying that your mortgage has been transferred to ING DIRECT.
