Our first ING DIRECT Café opened its doors to the public in the summer of 1997 in Toronto. The second opened in Vancouver in October of 1998, followed by Montréal in November 2002, and Calgary in May of 2006.
So, why Cafés and not branches? Because learning about money shouldn't be complicated. In fact, we think it can be as easy as enjoying a cup of coffee with friends. At an ING DIRECT Café you'll find saving, financial nourishment and being a good neighbour are on the menu.
Chances are you might run into our Café staff in your community. You'll find us handing out seedlings on Orange bicycles to help make our world a little greener in Vancouver, or alongside Quebec sports celebrities raising funds to help Québec kids reach their full potential. You'll see us at the Calgary Stampede in Orange cowboy hats selling burgers for charity, or hosting a picnic for kids in need in Toronto.
